1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. Some are necessary for a website to work; others are only used with your consent.
2. Your consent
When you first visit our website, a banner asks for your consent. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, because the site cannot work properly without them (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). All other categories stay switched off until you agree (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via „Manage consent“ at the bottom of every page.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary / functional
Needed to run the website, remember your cookie choice and keep the site secure. These cannot be switched off in the banner.
Preferences
Remember details you choose to save, e.g. your name and email when commenting.
Marketing / external media
Embedded YouTube videos. They are only loaded after you consent; until then you see a placeholder.
We currently do not use statistics, analytics or advertising cookies.
